HSG 236 Thorough examination of Power Presses (replaces previous PM 79 examinations and extends the inspection and test to include electronic or electrical systems)
This legislation is a statutory requirement and is intended to be used in conjunction with diligent and regular maintenance of Power Presses.
The examinations should be carried out by a competent person who can demonstrate a level of training and experience and who can offer informed opinions as to the condition and safety of machines.
These inspections are often called insurance inspections and are sometimes undertaken by an insurance companies own inspectors. Where this is not the case we can supply a "Competent Person" to undertake the work. We can also supply trained engineers to prepare machines for examination and to re-assemble after inspection.
We would also be pleased to quote for any remedial work identified during the examinations.
